Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover – Book Summary

Reminders of Him Book Summary by Colleen Hoover
Reminders of Him Book Summary by Colleen Hoover

In Reminders of Him, Colleen Hoover wrote an angsty, emotionally-charged novel about finding forgiveness and redemption for past mistakes, taking her already evocative writing to a whole new level.

Her another book It Ends With Us also opened to great reviews all over. Though this book addresses issues of depression, child custody, and re-entry programs. In my opinion, every Hoover fan should read this story!

She accidentally ends up getting to know Scotty’s best friend (who she hadn’t met before), Ledger, and they fall for each other.

The book ultimately reveals that Kenna and Scotty were driving an open-top convertible down a country road on the night of the accident. After the crash, Kenna believed Scotty was dead, but she later learned he had been alive for hours. Unable to find her cell phone, Kenna walked from the scene to get help, disoriented by her own injuries. She came home and passed out from a head injury.

Before Ledger can tell them what’s going on, Landry’s realize that Ledger has been secretly dating Kenna which makes them furious. However, Ledger apologizes and shows them a letter Kenna wrote about how much she loves Scotty. Landrys eventually forgive Kenna and agree to apologize for how they treated her. Kenna finally gets to have her daughter in her life and the book ends with Kenna and Ledger having a son together years later who they name Scotty.
